A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from Revel Tours & Safaris. All bookings are subject to availability and our acceptance. Once confirmed, you will receive a booking confirmation email with your itinerary details.
All payments must be made in the agreed currency (USD or TZS). A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking. The final balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the departure date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
We accept bank transfers, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), and secure online payments. All bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.
Cancellations must be received in writing via email. The following cancellation fees apply based on the number of days before the scheduled departure:

Note: For Kilimanjaro trekking and special departures, different cancellation terms may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.
While we strive to follow all itineraries as planned, Revel Tours reserves the right to modify routes, accommodations, or activities due to unforeseen circumstances including weather conditions, road closures, wildlife movements, or safety concerns. In such cases, we will make every effort to provide suitable alternatives of equal or greater value.
Revel Tours is not liable for any additional costs incurred due to itinerary changes beyond our control.
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all clients. Your insurance must cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, flight delays, lost luggage, personal belongings, and emergency evacuation. Revel Tours is not liable for any costs arising from uninsured events. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance at the time of booking.
Revel Tours & Safaris acts as an intermediary between clients and third-party service providers including lodges, hotels, airlines, ground transport operators, and activity providers. We carefully select our partners but are not liable for acts, omissions, or defaults of these independent contractors.
We are also not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to: natural disasters, political instability, strikes, government actions, terrorist activities, health epidemics/pandemics, or force majeure events.
Clients are responsible for their own health and safety. You must ensure you are physically and mentally fit for the chosen activities. Please consult your doctor regarding required vaccinations (Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid), malaria prophylaxis, and any other health recommendations before traveling to Tanzania.
Revel Tours reserves the right to refuse service to any client who, in our reasonable judgment, is unfit for the planned activities or poses a risk to themselves or others.
Clients are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid travel documents including passports (valid for at least 6 months beyond return date), visas, vaccination certificates, and any other required permits. Revel Tours is not liable for any costs or disruptions resulting from inadequate documentation.
Revel Tours may take photographs and videos during tours for marketing and promotional purposes. By booking with us, you consent to the use of your images unless you notify us in writing before departure that you do not wish to be photographed.
Children under 12 years may be eligible for discounted rates on select tours. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Revel Tours does not provide childcare services and parents are fully responsible for their children's safety at all times.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts in Dar es Salaam.
